Omen of Light remains in high demand within PoE 2 Runes of Aldur League, with each one typically yielding 20 to 30 Divine Orbs. Given that its drop rate is not particularly low, farming it in the endgame during Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 continues to be quite profitable.
Before adopting an Abyss Omen farming strategy, you need to pre-configure your Atlas and Abyss talent trees and choose the appropriate maps. To maximize profits, PoECurrency.com will explain map, Tablet, and other configurations.

Map Configuration
First, it is important to note that the map Effectiveness modifier does not increase the number of Omen of Light drops. Since Patch 0.4.0, each monster with Amanamu’s Void modifier can drop at most one Omen. Effectiveness only affects the total quantity of other PoE2 currency for sale.
The map’s modifiers influence the income from each run. If you do not wish to invest too much currency, you can pick a Tier 15 map, turn it into a full-modifier map using an Orb of Alchemy and two Exalted Orbs, and then simply run it to completion. For better loot per map, aim for maps with Monster Rarity and Rare Monsters modifiers. You can acquire these through trading on the market or by rerolling the modifiers yourself using Omen of Chaotic Effectiveness.
Tablet Configuration
Choosing the right Tablets is the core of this farming strategy. The goal is to generate as many rare monsters as possible and to increase their chance of becoming Amanamu’s Void Monsters.
The recommended combination is three Abyss Tablets, or two Abyss Tablets plus one Delirium Tablet. If you dislike Delirium or lack sufficient PoE 2 currency, you can use an Overseer Tablet instead, though its effect is somewhat weaker.
Each Tablet must include modifiers that increase the number of rare monsters on the map and boost the chance for Abyss monsters to gain Abyss modifiers, as these directly raise the probability of encountering Amanamu’s Void Monsters.
High-Value Modifiers
Modifiers that add an additional Rogue Exile to the map are also valuable. These exiles can drop Heart of the Well Diamond, which provides a decent source of income. Although its value has dropped considerably compared to the start of the league, it still fetches over 20 Path of Exile 2 Exalted Orbs, so your actual returns will be higher.
Secondary Alternative Modifiers
When you cannot get the above modifiers on an Abyss Tablet, you can also look for other valuable ones:
-
Maps have a chance to contain additional Abysses.
-
Abysses spawn two additional rare monsters.
-
Modifiers that increase monster rarity or the number of Abyss monsters.
For Delirium Tablets, you only need to focus on increasing rare monster count and adding an extra Rogue Exile to the map.
Whether investing in maps or tablets, you’ll need some currency as starting capital. You can buy cheap PoE 2 currency at PoECurrency.com whenever you need it. Typically, you can acquire the necessary currency in just a few minutes, with minimal downtime.

Atlas Passive Tree
There are three key nodes in Atlas passive tree. First, Overlord’s Influence and Overlord’s Domain both increase Azmeri Spirit and Rogue Exiles, which are very beneficial for this Abyss farming method. Nemesis Rising, on the other hand, gives your map’s rare monster packs a 50% chance to spawn an additional rare monster.
Abyss Passive Tree
-
Lord of the Pit Proliferation: enhances the scattering of Abyss pits and is said to increase the chance that Rogue Exiles are affected by Abyss influences.
-
Balance of Power Amanamu: because only this node allows the drop of Omen items related to Amanamu’s Void.
-
Vile Treasures: increases Omen drop chance by 50%.
Masters of the Atlas
Hilda
Hilda’s nodes provide 15% more rare monsters and give rare monsters a 25% chance to gain an additional modifier. Her talents also increase the effect of Tablets’ explicit modifiers and have a 45% chance to double Rogue Exile-related content.
Jado
He reveals Anomaly Bosses on the map and has a talent that randomly increases the effect of Tablets’ explicit modifiers by 0 to 40%, which is extremely powerful.
Farming Method
When you see a ring of black mist around an Amanamu’s Void monster, do not rush in and kill it within that mist. Doing so will almost certainly cause the monster to drop the less valuable Omen of the Liege.
The correct approach is to avoid attacking inside the mist. Instead, lure the monster out of the void mist’s range. Make sure both you and the monster are outside the mist, and then defeat it there.
After doing this, the monster will not drop Omen of the Liege but will have a chance to drop Omen of Sinistral Necromancy, Omen of Dextral Necromancy, Omen of Putrefaction, Omen of Abyssal Echoes, and Omen of Light.
Since the void mist’s coverage has been reduced from about 90% in Patch 0.4.0 to roughly 50%, monsters remain unprotected for a considerable period even if you do not deliberately pull them. Just ensure that you kill them while they are not shrouded by the void.
Revenue Overview
Even with the most basic setup, assuming most builds can easily clear 10 maps per hour, you can earn 20 to 30 POE 2 Divine Orbs per hour. This figure does not even include Divine Orbs that drop directly from maps or the additional gains from Delirium.
If you prefer not to run Delirium maps, using only 3 Abyss Tablets still yields quite respectable returns. Of course, adding Delirium mechanic offers higher potential, but the choice is entirely yours.
PoECurrency.com suggests that you start with the most ordinary Abyss Tablets, gradually accumulate wealth, and then acquire better Tablets once you have built up a certain amount, so that your map returns become even higher.
